"I'm not running for governor to be a caretaker of the status quo," Sanders said. "I'm running to make a difference in the lives of Arkansans. I'm running to bring my experience in Washington to Little Rock and to fight for the people of this state."
Sanders, who is the daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, is a polarizing figure in Arkansas politics.
